This was a conceptual garden for the Southport Flower Show 2011. Although it was not the winning entry, it was one of the highest rated by the judges in terms of interpretation of theme and overall design. The garden takes you on the journey of making a vintage wine, representing the processes of maceration (tannins), fermentation, chaptalization (sugars). The flame feature is fuelled by bio-ethanol, a product of the sugar industry.
